Bishop Bikes is a startup company run by one man in love with bikes and electronics.  I have been a cyclist all my life have never owned a car because where I lived I didn’t need one since everything was in bike ride reach.

I’ve started making batteries while I resided in Canada, learned what to do and what not to. Made my first electric bike – best thing I ever did.

Here in Ireland things are a bit different and rides are longer and more exhausting, so I decided to go electric. I have lot of electronic experience from before so setting thing on the bike was not a problem. I have built my own battery from used laptop batteries (long and tedious process) but it works marvelously. I ride my bike daily and am quite happy with it.
